Scents in the Workplace
While UBC is not entirely scent-free, scent-free and scent-reduced environments are established in many of UBC’s public places.
Scented personal products and some household cleaning products contain chemicals which can cause health problems for many people, especially those with asthma, allergies or environmental illnesses.
Most manufacturers of personal care products offer scent free alternatives. By choosing scent free personal care products we can lessen the impact the scent has on the health of others.
Please contact Risk Management Services for more information.
